Patent professional since 2009, with Espatent since 2020.
I have graduated from the Helsinki University of Technology having organic chemistry as a major subject and polymer technology as a minor. I have worked as a patent attorney since 2009 prior to joining Espatent. My main area of practice concerns drafting and prosecution in the chemical field. I handle inventions relating to paper manufacturing, fiber-based products, oil refining, polymer technology, nanotechnology, process and organic chemistry. I also carry out novelty searches, Freedom to Operate and patentability analysis.
I work client oriented, listening to the client’s wishes and respecting them. Inventors are top experts in their field, and good cooperation with the inventors is important. The client’s interest throughout the life cycle of the patenting process is the starting point for my work as a patent attorney. This motivates me to constantly work for the best for client.
