I am one of the founders of Espatent and my responsibilities include operative management of the company, although I still spend a significant part of my working hours in Patent Attorney work.
At the beginning of my career, I did not yet fully appreciate how diverse the profession of a patent attorney is. I was, however, immediately drawn to the unique combination of technical analysis, legal reasoning, and business considerations the work entails. This same combination continues to be what makes the profession most engaging for me today. I find it rewarding to first gain a thorough understanding of the technical aspects of an invention and then fit them into the appropriate legal framework, always keeping in mind the underlying business objectives and the fundamental purpose of the intellectual property rights involved.
In my work, I handle a broad range of inventions in the fields of information technology and mechanical engineering. My experience covers, among other things, inventions related to software, telecommunications, AI, electronics, various types of sensors, optics, power grids, and different mechanical solutions. The wide spectrum of technical fields further adds to the interest and variety of my work.
